Privacy Policy
RPOST, LLC — VFX Screen Generator Service
RPOST, LLC ("RPOST," "we," "us," or "our") operates the VFX Screen Generator Service available at https://www.screengen.tv/ (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We designed the Service to collect as little information as possible. You do not need an account to use it, we do not charge for it, and we do not use advertising or marketing tools. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used. Any images you work with are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers.
1. Information We Collect
Images You Load Into the Service
The Service processes images entirely within your web browser, on your own device. When you load an image into the Service:
- Your image is never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on our servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.
- We have no access to your images and cannot view, use, share, sell, or retain them, and they are never used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- Any image data temporarily held in your browser's local storage during use is automatically cleared within 24 hours and never leaves your device.
- You retain all ownership rights in your content.
Automatically Collected Technical Information
Like most websites, our servers and hosting infrastructure automatically record limited technical information when you access the Service, such as:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Date and time of access
- Pages or features accessed
This information is collected in standard server logs and is used only for operating, securing, and troubleshooting the Service, including detecting and preventing abuse. It is not linked to any account or profile, because the Service does not have accounts.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (Measurement ID G-8MJWCFVQ7L) to measure traffic and how visitors use the Service — for example, which pages are viewed and general usage patterns. Google may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed. Google may set analytics cookies or use similar technologies. This information is processed by Google as described in Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics' data practices. We use these reports only to understand and improve the Service. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or retargeting.
Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not:
- Require or offer user accounts or registration
- Collect names, email addresses, or payment information
- Use advertising or retargeting pixels
- Send marketing emails or newsletters
- Sell or share personal information for advertising purposes
Cookies
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies (or use similar technologies) to distinguish visits and measure usage, as described above. The Service may also use strictly necessary browser storage (such as local storage) solely to make the Service function on your device — for example, temporarily holding an image you are working with. That functional storage stays in your browser, is cleared within 24 hours, and is not used to track you across other websites.
2. How We Use Information
We use the limited information described above only to:
- Operate the Service and generate the outputs you request
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service, including preventing abuse, spam, and unauthorized access
- Diagnose technical problems and maintain service quality
- Understand usage of the Service through Google Analytics so we can improve it
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use your information for advertising, marketing emails, or automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions)
Where laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR apply, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests: Maintaining server logs and security measures, and measuring Service usage with Google Analytics, is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating a secure, functional, and improvable service. These interests are not overridden by your rights, given the limited data involved. Your images are processed entirely on your own device and are not processed by us at all.
- Legal obligation: Where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use third-party hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the Service. These providers process standard server log data only on our behalf and under obligations to protect it. We also use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to measure usage; Google processes analytics data as described in Google's privacy policy. Because your images never leave your browser, no service provider ever receives them.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers. If RPOST, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy's commitments.
5. Data Retention
- Your images: Never received or stored by us. Any image data held locally in your browser is cleared within 24 hours and remains on your device at all times.
- Server logs: Retained for a limited period consistent with standard security and operational practices, typically no longer than 90 days, unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse or comply with law.
- Google Analytics data: Retained according to our Google Analytics property settings and Google's retention controls for that product.
6. International Data Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored on servers located in the United States (or in other jurisdictions used by our hosting providers). If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing
- Data portability
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
Because we collect so little information — no accounts, no contact details, and uploads that are deleted within 24 hours — in most cases we will not hold any information that identifies you by the time we receive a request. We will nonetheless respond to verifiable requests as required by applicable law.
California residents: We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit. California residents may exercise applicable rights by contacting us using the information below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
EEA/UK residents: You may exercise the rights described above by contacting us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at rick@rpost.tv.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Service, please contact us at rick@rpost.tv and we will delete it.
9. Security
The Service is designed so that the most sensitive data — your images — never leaves your device, which is the strongest safeguard we can offer. For the limited technical information we do handle, we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including transport encryption (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be indicated by a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
