On-set screen content for camera
Put ScreenGen on the device in frame. Pick a mode, set the content, arm a delay, hide the controls. Fire from that device or from a second phone off-camera.
Now in Beta
ScreenGen runs as an installed home-screen app or in the browser on the device in frame — iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, or PC.
Choose what shows: chroma plate, social feed, phone UI, or a video file you already have. Set the timing. Fire the cue on that device or from a second device off-camera.
Green for keying, white, or ~18% gray for reflection retention. Grade the plate with Kelvin, tint, and luminance. Markers — cross, dot, or corner — with spacing, size, and opacity. Only green tracking scrolls (drag, wheel, or auto); white/gray tracking stay locked.
Facebook-, Instagram-, Linkd-, and TikTok-style layouts without official logos. Randomized Stock pulls royalty-free photos and video via Pexels; Green swaps media for chroma placeholders; Custom lets you dress up to five posts with your own photos, copy, and engagement. Names and captions are generated for stock fills (mixed lengths on Facebook and Linkd).
Home (multipage + dock), incoming/active call, video call with local caller file and optional front-camera PIP, Messages (text / photo / location bubbles; Manual Cue with Next / Show all / Reset, or Talent Interaction), single text alert, and notification stacks (lock screen or banner-over-home; fire all at once or in sequence). Dress contact, wallpaper, clock (live or fixed). Screen-off + cue wake on call, message, text, and notif modes — not home.
Pick an MP4 on the display, or upload from the paired remote (up to 50 MB). Portrait 9:16 at 1080×1920 recommended. Scale To Fill or Scale To Fit. Cue delay starts playback. Remote uploads expire after 24h; local blobs stay on-device for the session.
Drag apps on a visual home grid (pages + dock); rename, add, and delete; built-in or uploaded icons. Multipage home on both iOS and Android looks. Open Phone or Messages from the grid. Export writes a transparent PNG of icons and labels only — no wallpaper, no status bar — or leave the layout live on the prop.
Cue applies to phone UI and video only (not plates or social). Delay 0–60s with countdown, then fire. Hide controls for a clean frame. Take lock blocks stray taps so you don’t kick the UI mid-take; triple-tap the screen to unlock. Screen power + wake on call/message/notif modes. Haptics when the browser allows.
Six-character code or QR to /remote/. Sync mode, grade, markers, social fill, phone content, take lock, screen power/wake, and playback settings. Commands: arm/cancel cue, play/pause/restart video. Either device can be display or remote; display stays put while you drive from off-camera.
Add to Home Screen so it opens fullscreen.

No account, no app store, no subscription. If it saved you time on set, coffee money helps.
